HCETA currently accepts for Tuition:

1. Cash.
2. Credit cards*
3. Credit card checks*
4. Certified check.
5. Money orders.
6. TAA / NAFTA / WIA funding (see your representative for more details).
7. Personal loans.

Sorry, HCETA does not utilize any Gov.Title IV loans or student loans for Tuition.

All lending institutions require a credit worthy co-signer to co-sign if the person has a low credit grade and no current income, PERIOD!

Tips for better loan approval:

1. Have a good credit grade, score or rating.
2. Have a credit worthy co-signer (required for students with a low or no credit score).
3. Have all forms or applications on hand and filled out prior to applying.
4. Use banking institutions that are familiar with you.
5. Have money available to make a down payment.
6. Cleared bankruptcies or charge offs and no defaulted student loans.
7. Some form of valuable collateral equal in value to your loan amount.
8. Apply at a training facility that has a low default rate* or percent rate.

PERSONAL LOAN EXAMPLE ONLY!

Basically, default rates are based on how well a schools graduates obtain employment in order to re-pay their loans. If students are poorly trained and can't succeed in their occupation or position they were actually trained for, students will usually default their loans believing the school improperly prepared them for employment which is most likely true in most cases. This scenario will adversely effect the student or co-signers credit for a long time until its payed in full, and the school continues to operate preying on free Govt. loans that your responsible for! This will continue until enough complaints or the default rate alarm sounds at the U.S. Dept of Education and denies the school any future funding for students wanting to attend. May we suggest that if the schools solicitor or representative sounds like they have no idea about the trade or what the school has to offer in great detail, and school locations pop up all over the country like the plague, you'd better watch out! It's your money and your credit rating at stake! Obtain your schools Federal code if approved for Govt. Title IV student loans, then check the link below to see it for yourself! If you can't find it, you'd better do more investigative work about the school before applying there! HCETA does not participate in Federal Funding at this time, so were not listed there. Feel free to call us and get the facts instead of talking to a head hunter at those other places. Our default rate is zero, by the way.

HCETA registration requirements:

1. HCETA application completed and the registration fee sent in four weeks prior to class date.
2. TAA/WIA/NAFTA approved for disbursement before your first day of class.
3. All personal loan applications completed prior to class date.
4. 18 yrs old.
5. Physically able to climb or high step to get on the equipment.
6. Be able to sit in a seat for 10 hours a day - hand, eye and foot coordination.
7. H.S. diploma / G.E.D. certificate.
8. Compute basic mathematical equations.
9. Able to read, write and comprehend information.
10. Listen and follow directions.

The balance of tuition is due the first day of class.
