HCETA utilizes Caterpillar equipment 99.9% of the time to train and certify their students on. Our directors/instructors all agree that Caterpillar equipment is the best and easiest to train entry level operators on.
Learning how to operate these expensive and complex machines correctly and productively is the first big step. Cat has taken the guess work out of the equation because of their attention to detail in every tractor! This makes training you very simple.
Tractor models used for certification training may include:
1. Hydraulic Excavator - 312, 313, 318, 320
2. Bulldozer - D3G, D4G, D5G
3. Backhoe Loader - 416, 420, 424, 428, 430, 432, 442
What HCETA students can expect while training here:
1. NO sharing REAL tractors.
2. NO waiting in line to operate REAL tractors.
3. NO SIMMULATORS / IPODS used for REAL tractor training.
4. NOT getting "bumped off" because their picking it up faster than others.
5. NOT getting "bumped off" because their picking it up slower than others.
6. NO chopping your tractor time with a simulator game or Ipods.
7. NO worn, old or abused equipment to train on.
8. NO shops, barns or makeshift classrooms .
9. NO more than 12 students per class.
10. NO worries if the school really exists or has a high student default rate.
Please do yourself a favor, and ask about these 10 things before you sign up! We did!
